The custom AI developer agency is recognized for bringing computer vision and AI agents to document- and drawing-heavy manufacturing workflows in the wood products industry.

COXIT, a custom artificial intelligence and machine learning developer agency for manufacturers, announced today that Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer Volodymyr Hresko has been named to Woodworking Network’s Wood Industry 40 Under 40 Class of 2026. The annual program honors leaders under the age of 40 who are shaping the future of North American wood products manufacturing through innovation, leadership, and industry impact.

Now in its 11th year, the Wood Industry 40 Under 40 received close to 100 submissions across cabinetry, furniture, closets and home organization, architectural woodwork, retail fixtures, wood components, and educational institutions. Honorees are selected by Woodworking Network’s team of editors, and the 2026 class joins more than 400 alumni recognized over the past decade.

Why Volodymyr Hresko was recognized

COXIT builds custom AI systems that combine computer vision, large language models, and AI agents to process the complex documents and technical drawings that manufacturing runs on. In woodworking and architectural millwork, those workflows include estimating, takeoffs, and reading dense specification books, tasks that have historically required hours of manual interpretation by skilled staff.

As Co-Founder and COO, Hresko has helped lead COXIT’s work with manufacturers in the sector. The company developed a Production Takeoff Tool and a Spec Book AI Agent for Stevens Industries, a wood products manufacturer, automating parts of the estimating and document-review process that previously slowed production. COXIT is an Amazon Web Services partner and a supplier member of the Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI), and it has published research on AI adoption in the woodworking industry.

Industry impact

The recognition points to a broader shift in a traditionally hands-on industry. By applying AI to the paperwork and drawings that surround every manufactured product, COXIT helps shops reduce manual effort, shorten quoting cycles, and free experienced employees to focus on higher-value work. Hresko’s selection reflects how technology partners, not only manufacturers themselves, are helping modernize wood products manufacturing across North America.

What’s next

Volodymyr Hresko and the rest of the 2026 class will be recognized at the Woodworking Network Leadership Reception on August 25, 2026, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, following the opening day of the International Woodworking Fair (IWF).

Honorees will also be featured in the October Leadership issue of FDMC magazine. The 40 Under 40 Class of 2026 is sponsored by PaintLine and Pennsylvania Lumbermens Mutual Insurance Co. (PLM).
